Doug Madenberg has led The Feedback Group since 1995. He consults with organizations across the U.S. to listen and respond to their customers, employees, and supply chain partners. Doug has been at the forefront of consumer and employee insights in the grocery industry. He introduced the first automated feedback system specifically for supermarket shoppers and co-developed the Retail Culture Survey, a widely-used norm-based feedback tool for retail, office and distribution employees. Doug has collaborated on industry research with the National Grocers Association, FMI (The Food Industry Association), and numerous industry-wide and state-level associations. He co-facilitates grocery industry share groups and training programs with renowned industry expert Harold Lloyd. A trusted analyst and presenter, Doug Madenberg is also co-author of Feedback Rules! published by Brigantine Media as part of their popular Rules! series.
Prior to joining The Feedback Group as a Principal, Doug was a manager in the retail practice of Deloitte Consulting. He holds MBA and BS degrees in Marketing and Strategic Human Resources from Cornell University, where he was named a Merrill Presidential Scholar for his academics and leadership. Doug serves in a board/advisory role for several service and non-profit organizations.
